From TV is Cool via Bad Astronomy, a high-quality different-view better-resolution clip of one of the crowning moments of human civilization, 40 years ago this July.
Did you know the clip with which we’re all familiar was a film of the TV screen at the NASA control room?
Apparently no one decided - or was able - to tape the direct feed.
This footage is sumptuous and chill-inducing.
